We are exceptionally pleased to be recognized as one of the 2022–23 Best Senior Living communities in the United States in U.S. News & World Report’s inaugural edition of Best Senior Living.

Not only was The Commons in Lincoln recognized as one of the best senior communities in the country, but it was also the only community in Massachusetts to be recognized for Best Independent Living.

A reflection of the quality relationships between residents and associates.

The recognition reflects our community’s incredible associates who make The Commons a senior living experience that transcends the ordinary.

Retired but never retiring, our residents come from diverse backgrounds. They seek a stimulating and fulfilling lifestyle in a sophisticated environment with world-class services and amenities, and they find it here at The Commons.

“It is an honor that The Commons in Lincoln was included in U.S. News & World Report’s inaugural edition of Best Senior Living, especially as the only community in Massachusetts to be recognized for Best Independent Living,” said Reynaldo LeBlanc, The Commons in Lincoln Campus Executive Director. “This recognition reflects our community’s focus on valuing our relationships with our residents and our associates. Our associates are empowered to create meaningful and engaging experiences for all our residents every day. Building these quality relationships are at the foundation of everything we do. We are humbled and proud of the overwhelming positive reviews from our residents.”

Residents report excellence in consumer survey.

The new U.S. News report is the definitive resource for those looking for the finest in senior living.

To be considered for the award, The Commons had to meet certain eligibility criteria, and residents of the community participated in a consumer satisfaction survey in which they were asked to rate their experience in a range of areas, including staff kindness, activities, food quality, services and the quality of caregiving.

The report included surveys from 3,000 Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care communities across the United States.

Residents of The Commons highly recommended the community and acknowledged excellence in the following areas:

  • Community and activities

  • Variety of life-enrichment activities
  • Homelike feel
  • Safety
  • Local transportation
  • Food and dining
